Curriculum Overview 教材概述

Our team of experienced teachers created a K-5 curriculum for both Cantonese and Mandarin programs.

  • Themes are closely related to students’ personal lives.

  • Learning goals crafted to suit students’ developmental progress at each grade level.

  • Essential vocabulary and grammatical structures defined for each grade level.

  • Students will be exposed to five learning aspects: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Cultural Competency. 学生将在这五方面迸行学习: 听力、口语、阅读、写作和文化能力.

  • Cantonese classes will be taught using traditional characters and Jyutping.
    粤语班将使用繁体字和粤拼授课.

  • Mandarin classes will be taught using simplified characters and Pinyin.
    普通话班将使用体字和拼音授课.

Semester One - All About Me 第一学期 - 关于我

  • My Introduction 自我介绍 (Who am I? 我是谁?)

  • My Information 个人资料 (What do you need to know about me? 你想知道关于我的什么?)

  • My Family 我的家 (What do you need to know about my family? 你想知道关于我家庭的什么?)

  • My Heritage 的文化传承 (What you can't know about me by just looking at me? 只凭看我表面不能知道的事情)

  • My Food & Drinks Preferences 我的食喜(What do I like and don't like to eat and drink? 我喜欢和不喜欢的食物)

  • My Interest & Hobbies 我的兴趣和嗜好 (What do I like to do on my free time? 在闲时我喜欢做些什么?)

  • My Body & Health 我的身体和健康 (How does my body feel and react? 认识身体上的官感)

  • My Feelings and Emotions 我的感觉和情绪 (How does my mind feel, and how does my body react? 认识心理上的情)
